LPMA members represent the very best property management practitioners and companies across Australia, and this award recognises superior achievement in the previous year for businesses with less than 500 properties under management.
Principal Cam Ewers, said that the company has come a long way in its seven years of operation, and now manages 490 properties across the Western Suburbs and beyond.
“Twelve years ago, when I started working in the property management industry, I never expected that we’d be recipients of award like this,” said Cam.
“But I shouldn’t be surprised – I know we’ve got a really great team who truly provide an excellent service to all our owners and tenants,” he said.
Cam said that Pure Leasing Central is set apart from a lot of other businesses because leasing is all it does.
“Many property management operations are linked to real estate agents for whom sales is their major activity,” he explained.
“Being a specialist property management business give us the edge, as we’re able to focus on this often neglected sector of the real estate industry and provide vacancy rates consistently lower than the market,” he said.
Pure Leasing Central’s performance was judged against a range of specific criteria, including rent roll growth, arrears management, innovation, systems, performance data, conversion rates, referral rates, client service and commitment to professional development.
“With 76% of new managements being either repeat or referral business, I think we are doing something right,” said Cam.
“We’re also passionate about getting involved in our local community which I think is a really important part of what we do.”.
